Hole 8

Men's Handicap: 18
Women's Handicap: 18

Hole   8
Par   4
Number eight is a short, multiple route par four whose character and challenge are created by two central hazards. The first is a relatively small but penal bunker located in the middle of the prime tee shot landing zone. The second is a large mound in the center of the green that effectively divides the wide putting surface into two halves. The pin placement which knowledgeable players can discern from the tee dictates which side of the central bunker the tee shot should be played. Pin left, play left. Pin right, play right. While the long player can potentially drive over the central bunker onto the green, the ball must come to rest on the desired side of the mound or a three putt is almost certain.
